Fresh Apple Salsa


  • 2 small apples
  • ½ medium red onion
  • ½ medium yellow pepper
  • ½ medium red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons of raisins or less
  • 2 tablespoons of walnuts or less
  • 1 squeeze lime juice
  • ½ grapefruit juice
  • ½ orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil or desired amount
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste
  • Whole wheat tortilla chips


  1. Dice all the apples, the red onion, and the peppers
  2. Chop cilantro, add raisins, and mix all in a medium bowl
  3. Squeeze lime, grapefruit, orange juice, then add the olive oil
  4. Add the walnuts then mix the ingredients well
  5. Add sea salt and black pepper to taste
